Arts on the Prairie Concert Series
This Arts on the Prairie Concert Series will host “Dalton James” ~ one of Dkn. top winners for the 2013 competition, Singer and Songwriter performing country music. Concert starts @ 7:00 pm is free & open to the general public. Bring your favorite lawn chair, blanket and sit back and enjoy these concerts under the evening sky. Fun for the whole family.

Alive @ 5
Summertime will come alive each Thursday evening in downtown Dickinson, from 5:00-8:30pm with free live music, scrumptious food, fine wines, frosty brews, along with children’s activities, street vendors and dancing. “Harley and the V Twins” will perform. Alive @ 5 is a weekly event (except for July 4) and a gathering of Dickinson's professionals, community members and friends, and its goal is to help promote and revitalize the downtown Dickinson area. This event is hosted by Odd Fellows Lodge and Sneak Pique Productions. Proceeds will go to scholarships and other worthy causes.

Friday, June 21st:
5:00pm - Doors open with social hour
6:00pm - "Fallen Heroes" Memorial Steak Fry/Tickets $20
8:00pm-10:00pm - Live Music by "The Step Brothers" - Cash bar, must be 21 years of age or older in designated alcohol areas.
Saturday, June 22nd:
10:00am-12:00pm - Honor Ride Registration/$10 p/person
12:00pm - NDPG program and presentation to families of the fallen soldiers
1:15pm - Honor Ride leaves from the Recreation Center.
5:30pm - Free Burger/Brat evening meal for Honor Run participants & Gold Star Families
8:00pm - Live Stage Show & Music by "The Shadows Tribute Band" - Cash bar, must be 21 years of age or older in designated alcohol areas. Doors open @ 6:30pm. Tickets are sold in advance at Maverick's Saloon or Hair Ovations. for $15.00. They can also be purchased at the door for $20.00.

This ND Cowboy Hall of Fame Induction Weekend will host “Honor the Honorees” on Friday the 21st @ the ND Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora with a Social @ 5:00, Meal @ 6:00, Program @ 6:30 & Music @ 8:00pm. Annual Roughrider Days Fair & Expo
The highly anticipated Roughrider Days Fair and Expo will run from June 24th - 30th and July 1st thru 4th. It is Dickinson's main summer event and will feature many fun-filled events for the whole family. The theme for this year's event is "America ~ Yesterday, Today & Forever". Events offered during the Fair and Expo are the Horse, Poultry & Rabbit Shows, along with the 4-H Exhibit and Livestock Show taking place at the Biesiot Activities Center and at the DSU Indoor and Outdoor Arenas. In addition, the Southwest Speedway Assn. will hold their race at the Southwest Speedway~10 mi. South of town on Hiway 22 and 1 mi. West. There will also be a 5K/10K Run Walk at the Dickinson Recreation Center, a parade will take place throughout downtown Dickinson, the Arts Roundup & Rendezvous will be at the Dickinson State University Campus, along with the Best Friends Family Fun Day at the Jaycees Park. Headliner Country Western concert will feature Joe Nichols. And of course the Roughrider Days Fair wouldn't be complete without the PRCA Rodeos, Sax Motor Company Demolition Derby and Fireworks. "Outdoor Family Movie Night"
DSU is hosting “Outdoor Family Movie Night” at 7:30pm. Fun for the entire family. “Madagascar 3” rated PG, will show on the Hawk Vision Video Board. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and sit on Fisher Field or utilize bleacher seating to watch the film. Concessions will be open during the event. No outside food or drinks are permitted in the facility. Tickets are $5 p/person or $10 per family at the door. Doors open @ 7:00. Children 14 & under must be accompanied by an adult. This route has changed due to road construction on Villard. The *NEW route will be to head North on State Avenue from the Biesiot Activities Center parking lot. Then on Empire Road, turn right & head East until 13th Avenue West. Turn right again and head South where it will loop back to the Biesiot Activities Center. Those wishing to view the parade can use the Dkn. High School parking lot and the Dkn. Recreation Center and the West River Community Center parking lots.
Arts Roundup and Rendezvous
DSU Alumni & Foundation Arts Roundup & Rendezvous is a marketplace of creativity that showcases the best in arts, crafts & goods, along with live entertainment, a classic & stock car show and the best post-parade lunch options in town! Stop by The Rider Gallery in the DSU Foundation House featuring collections from two artists; shop the finest in handmade arts and crafts on DSU Lawn while taking in the food and entertainment at King Pavilion; or saunter over to Hawks Point for a summer shopping experience at the commercial vendor show. This event will run from 11:00am-5:00pm and is free to the public with all ages welcomes. Best Friends Family Fun Day
This fun filled day will start @ 12:00 noon – 5:00pm with 11 Inflatable bouncers and games, horse rides, concessions, barrel train rides, and a photo booth. Deejay Chris Hammond will be returning to entertain families with music and games. Local heroes will display their fire, police, rescue, and National Guard vehicles, while children will be able to meet a drug sniffing dog. Family-oriented activities for the afternoon! Tickets: Unlimited inflatable rides $12 wristband; one time rides, photo booth, horse ride tickets $2.
