Roughrider Days Fair and Expo
The highly anticipated Roughrider Days Fair and Expo will be June 24-July 4, 2013. Dickinson's main summer event will feature fun-filled events for the whole family.
The theme for this year's event is “America: Yesterday, Today & Forever”.
There are many events to take in during the fair and expo. The Horse, poultry, rabbit, dog, and pet shows, along with the 4-H Exhibit and Livestock Show will be taking place at the Badlands Activities Center and at the DSU Indoor and Outdoor Arenas. In addition, the Southwest Speedway will hold the Mid Season Championship and will crown a new winner.
There will also be a 5K/10K run/walk at the Dickinson Recreation Center. A parade will take place in downtown Dickinson and the Arts Roundup will be at the Dickinson State University Campus. Other events include a demolition derby, PRCA Rodeo, fireworks, and headliner concert featuring Joe Nichols and headliner Restless Heart.
