Be A Fan
The Crooked Crane Trail is a multi-surfaced trail around
Patterson Lake Recreation Area
.
The trail was originally created in 1999 and was recently rejuvenated to provide more access and amenities. The recreation area side of the trail consists of a 1.9 mile concrete, 10 ft. wide path with unique fitness and play equipment stationed along the trail.
The primitive side of the trail features a 6 ft. wide mowed grass trail along the south and west end of Patterson Lake with exceptional views and wildlife.
Six (6) trailheads are placed throughout with parking, signage and trail access. This section of the trail is approximately 9.6 miles and runs through the Wildlife Management Area along the south side of Patterson Lake Recreation Area.
