Theodore Roosevelt Center & Fisher Industries Theodore Roosevelt Gallery

The Fisher Industries Theodore Roosevelt Gallery is located in Lowman Walton Hall (300 13th Ave. W.), on the historic hilltop campus of Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota. Currently on display is the exhibit Theodore Roosevelt: A Life in Letters, which explores TR's lifetime of writing, curated by TR Center staff.

Other resources available to the public in Lowman Walton Hall include the Stankard Research Library and Roosevelt Reading Room, which includes a comprehensive digital presidential library of personal letters, diary entries, notes, cartoons, scrapbooks, newspaper columns, photographs, and magazine articles by and about Theodore Roosevelt.

Visitors to www.theodorerooseveltcenter.org can view films in which Theodore Roosevelt makes an appearance, listen to audio recordings that feature his famous falsetto voice, and read letters, diaries, and newspapers by and about Roosevelt. The staff at the Theodore Roosevelt Center welcome visitors to learn about Theodore Roosevelt's time in North Dakota and about the work to preserve and promote Roosevelt's legacy.

In 1883, Theodore Roosevelt invested in the Maltese Cross Ranch, south of the village of Medora, ND. The following year, he returned to the Badlands and established a second ranch, the Elkhorn, located 35 miles north of Medora.
